A new season is almost upon us Year 1. Can you think what it is...? That's right, it's spring!
The days are getting longer. The weather is getting warmer and there are signs of new growth everywhere.
Today the focus for our reading comprehension will be a text on spring!!
Read the words in the paragraphs and see if you can answer the questions based upon the text. Use your super phonics knowledge to decode the words and most importantly, enjoy it!!
For today we are going to practise what we have been learning this week by playing some online games, a game to play with your family and a game you can make. Hopefully by the end of this week you'll feel a lot more confident recognising numbers to 50, counting using tens and ones and finding different ways to represent (show) numbers too.
Maths - Friday 26th
Games to play and make
This half term we are looking at how we can look after the environment.
Watch my video and learn about different ways we can help our environment by making small changes in our lives.
Then I want you to use things around your home to make a "How to look after the environment" poster. Use things from your recycling bin and you will be saving the planet!
Here is a fun song to listen to too to get you in the groove! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DJ45Yc3urg
I hope you enjoy!!
