Welcome back Year 1!
We all hope you've had a restful break. We can't wait to catch up with you all and hear about what you have been doing over the holidays.
We hope you have your thinking hats on today ready to start our new topic Extraordinary Explorers!
Have a great day!

Maths
Today we will be starting to look at bigger numbers. The videos will be looking at numbers to 50. If you feel this is a little tricky you can still watch the videos but instead of completing the daily activities, have a look in the extra work folder and complete an activity each day working with numbers to 30. It may also help to print out a number square to 50 to use this week. If you don't have access to a printer you could have a go at making your own number square.

English
Today we are reading a new story called Naughty Bus, about a bus that goes exploring! Your activity is to recreate a scene from the story using a bus and whatever objects you can find. You can be as creative as you like! There are some different options for making a bus below - a paper model and a print out bus to cut out, or you can draw a picture or use a toy. There is a list of scenes below if you would like some help with ideas. We can't wait to see what you get up to
