First week back
Dear Parents and Carers
Thank you for your support in ensuring that the return to school has been successful for the children. Thank you also for your help with drop off today, the front of school was far less crowded than yesterday and there was a steady flow of families arriving and leaving the premises.
There are a number of new systems in place this year that we are all getting used to and although we have thorough plans in place until they are in action it is difficult to know if they will work. We are continuing to listen, reflect and respond to any issues which may arise to work with our school community and help everyone to feel as safe as possible on the premises.
The children have adapted really well to having their lunch and play times at different times and appear happy in their year group bubbles. There is a calmer, quieter eating environment and much more space to play outdoors.
The key stage 2 children are also enjoying the new outdoor equipment on the field which was chosen by our school council and funded through the national lottery. We will be planning opportunities for the key stage 1 children to use it too.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
