Return to school
Dear Parents and Carers
We are looking forward to welcoming the children back to school tomorrow.
Please could I remind all parents and carers that social distancing and one way systems must be followed when dropping off and collecting your child at the allocated time. Please do not arrive too early or late and please leave the premises as soon as you have dropped off or collected your child.
Children and parents should not come onto the school premises if they have Covid 19 symptoms or have tested positive in at least the last 10 days. They should also follow any relevant self isolation procedures following travel abroad.
If a child or adult in school becomes unwell with Covid 19 symptoms they will be sent home, advised to self isolate and arrange a test. In the case of a positive result, school will follow public health guidance on the actions the school must take and people who have been in close contact will be informed.
School must be notified of any reasons for a child's absence. If a child is feeling unwell in the morning before school, please avoid giving them paracetamol and sending them in. Please keep them at home until you are sure they are well enough to attend.
As mentioned in my July letter, children should bring a healthy snack and labelled water bottle to school every day. Lunch boxes, book bags or ruck sacks (KS2 only) can now be brought into school. Your child will also need a pair of wellies to stay in school and should wear a waterproof coat. We will notify you of the days your child may wear their PE kit to school.
