Year 4 PE Summer
There are a range of activities you can do to keep fit and active this Summer term. Pick 1 or 2 for each day! You can always choose your own ideas. These are just a few suggestions.
Have fun and keep fit and healthy!

Create your own circuit. Ideally of 6 stations where you repeat the exercise a number of times for a duration of half an hour.

Go for a run with an adult – keep a safe distance from people who don’t live in your house

Go for a bike ride with an adult. Next year you will be taking part in the bikability course. This will be good preparation!

Complete a session on a fitness app. The seven minute workout is great as you can repeat it then however many times that you would like to.

Our sport for this half term is athletics so try sprinting, a longer distance run, standing throw, run and throw, standing jumping, run and jump. Take some measurements and see if you can improve each week.

Dance - Oti Mabuse from Strictly Come Dancing and The Greatest Dancer, is live streaming themed dances for children on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Ask your adult to search for this for you as they will need one of these accounts to access it.
