For this lesson you will need some lined paper (or you can draw the lines like I have) and we are going to practise our zig zag monster letters
Any you are not confident with today, keep repeating them all week for 5 minutes until you are confident.

Welcome to our first computing lesson! We haven't done any computing in school yet because we usually start this in the Spring terms. We would like you to have a go at home if possible! Our specialist computing teacher has put together a lesson you can try at home on a website called Purple Mash.
We are in the process of generating individual log ins for every child.
Watch the video below and use it to become familiar with Purple Mash!
Year 1- 2 Go Challenge.mp4
Today's lesson follows on from yesterday and looks at ordering numbers. You can watch the White Rose video and complete the worksheet below. There is also a short video with ideas for how you can practise this practically at home using number cards. You could print off the cards below, or make your own! See if you can challenge yourself by ordering some higher numbers.
If you would like an extra challenge, have a go at the Activity Cards below. Use the adult guidance to to help guide the activities if you require more challenge.

Warm up Game:
"My Magic Space"
Go to a quiet space in your garden or in your house and sit down quietly and close your eyes. Use your 5 senses (can you remember them all?) to describe and take in your magic spot!
What can you hear?
What can you feel?
What can you smell?
finally, open your eyes, What can you see?
You have be learning about structures in DT. Can you make a small structure your forest, garden, park which would be perfect for a woodland creature! Is it a magical creature? What might he/she need to live? A warm bed, a fire, a roof? Send your photos so we can see!
Leave it there and go and visit it another day.. has anyone moved into your home?
You have been learning about growing in Science! In your local forest, park or your garden can you find something that is growing? How do you know it’s growing? What has made it grow? Who put it there?
Can you find something that new and something that’s been growing for a long time? How do you know it’s been growing for a long time?
Don’t stop exploring! Play outside in your garden, park or forest and enjoy being outside in the fresh air exploring nature!
To finish off all our hard work on the Three Little Pigs, I've got a really funny alternative version of the story to read to you! What do you think about the wolf, was he really big and bad? Enjoy
