Today I want you to work really hard at sloping your writing slightly to the right. Page 25 encourages you to do this in the EXTRA section. Keep trying the words until you are happy with your joins.
If you feel you have done really well with your joins, you could move on to the EXTENSION section at the bottom of page 25. This section is demonstrating words within sentences. Little and often is best to improve your handwriting. Keep working hard! I bet your writing looks amazing at the end of your practice.

LO: To explore UK human features

Work your way through the power point below (up to slide 8) explaining the difference between physical and human features.
1. Create a mind map – what human features can you think of in the UK? You could use the Internet to help you. Remember you would start in the middle of your paper with the label Human Features and then create the arms outwards. (See the document below example of a mind map)
2. Choose one of the landmarks – Stone Henge, Angel of the North, Cardiff Castle, The Kelpies, Carrickfergus Castle. Use google maps to find where in the country it is. Read some information given about each landmark.
3. Create an information card summarising what you have found out about your landmark.

Last week we looked at how and why Christians pray.
Today children we are going to look at a prayer that is very important to Christians.
Read this prayer below.
Have a go at re-writing this prayer in child friendly language, so that you could chat to someone else about it and teach them to understand what bits of it mean. Very often there is a message in religious writing. Can you find the message?
We need to be keeping as fit as we can be. As well as your walks and bike rides, try something new. If you have a scooter this is a great activity to keep you fit. I know someone in Year 3 has a pogo stick! I wonder if you are managing more bounces now!
Below are some suggested activities that may help you think of ideas. Consider using a fitness app or a fitness channel and get the whole family to join in.
