Today we are going to practise writing sentences from the story of The Bog Baby.
We will be using the 3 golden rules of sentence writing.
1) A capital letter at the start of each sentence.
2) A finger space in between each word.
3) A full stop at the end of each sentence.
When you have completed your chosen task. See if you can write some sentences of your own and be sure to follow the 'super sentences rules.'
Thank you Year 1,

Internet Safety Day
Today is 'Internet Safety Day.' The internet can a super source of learning, but it is important that we know how to 'stay safe,' when using it. With your grown up, have a look at the powerpoint which will help you think about how you can make sure you are safe on the internet.
Perhaps you could design a 'Internet Safety Day,' poster to share at Wednesday's live login.
For your Geography lesson today we are going to look at Map Symbols.
Watch the video and complete the activity. You need to match the symbols to their words and also design your own map symbol for something in your local area.
Challenge - Can you write to explain why you have chosen this symbol?
