Take a look at the new videos our PE teachers have put together to show you how you can join in with some key PE skills at home - https://www.didsburyroad.stockport.sch.uk/pe-lessons/
For today's lesson we are going to write some instructions on, 'How to look after a Bog Baby.'
A set of instructions always requires a title. They must be correctly ordered, with a number for each point and they must start with an imperative (bossy), verb e.g.
1) Slice the bread.
2) Spread the butter on the bread.
3) Put jam on the bread.
Choose the, 'BB Instructions mild,' if you would prefer to write your instructions with an imperative verb, (bossy verb), at the start of each instructional sentence,
Watch the teaching video for further input.

We are starting something new in Maths today - Subtraction! Please see the video and resources below. You can follow along with the video using practical resources if you'd like to, you just need 20 small items and tens frames. You may also want to use a number line. For the activity today you need some number cards and dice (if you don't have dice you can write some numbers cards to 6). Happy subtracting!
You can complete the subtraction to 10 sheet, or just use number cards to 10 for the activity if you don't feel ready to try numbers to 20 yet. Have a go at the Mastery challenge cards if you would like a challenge.

Design and Technology
We hope you have enjoyed the story of, 'The Bog Baby.'
This week we would like you to make your own Bog Baby!
Think about materials that you have around your house. Perhaps you could use playdoh, or a pom-pom or even a balloon!
Your Bog Baby doesn't have to be like the one in the story. It can be any colour, material, shape or size that you like.
When you have made your Bog Baby, complete the worksheet to tell your teacher about your design.
We can't wait to see them!

We have another story today that fits with the theme of 'Express Yourself', called The Lion Inside. What do you think the meaning of the story is? Can you practise your lion's roar? Enjoy!
