Forest School Home Learning

Miss James,

This weekend we did some Forest school.

We went into a woodland and we used a wildlife book to see what flowers and animals we could find and name them.

We found Cow Parsley, Forget-Me-Nots, Bull Rushes, Buttercups, a family of Coots with ducklings and a Cabbage White butterfly.

I have attached a picture of my woodland adventure, I hope you like it!

Wow, well done! Thank you for your email and photos about your own Forest School experience!

Esme and her grownups have been talking about what she enjoyed about Forest School....

She felt ‘so happy’ doing forest schools and enjoyed being with a partner.

She loved touching trees and guessing which ones they were.

“I loved making dens and houses for mini beasts”

Ben and Liyanna in 1P have also shared what they thought!

Naomi in 1P has written a lovely sentence about her Forest School experience whilst being at home.

Thank you Naomi, I loved making the animal houses with you.

A little explorer in 1J has written a Forest School poem whilst

learning from home and enjoyed walks in the common near her house.

Well done!
