Reading

Please read the text and answer the questions. It doesn't matter if you find some of the questions tricky- just do you best. If you want to challenge yourself then add lots of detail to your answers or look up the meaning of any unfamiliar words in the text.

8.1.21 Art: Fossils: Awesome Ammonites!

Look at the images of all the AMAZING fossils. They are called Ammonites.

Use different mediums to sketch these fossils in detail.

Look at the different shapes and patterns closely.

You can use pencil, pencils crayons, wax crayons, chalk, pastels, felt tips, charcoal, ink pens.

If you have a printer you can cut out some of the pictures and glue them next to your sketches. Can you write about what worked well? What effects were you happy with? Which media worked the best? What would you change?
