Welcome back Year 3! We hope you had a lovely break and are ready to start our new term and our new focus around Rocks!
- Maths- Multiplication, division, length and perimeter
- English- Performance poetry using "Poems Aloud" by Joseph Coelho and journalistic writing around mountain rescue using the book "Rescue" by David Long.
- Science-Forces and Magnets
- Geography- Naming and locating geographical regions, identifying human and physical characteristics, key topographical features (mountains and hills) and looking at physical geography, mountains, hills and coasts with links to rocks.
- RE- Our big question is "Why is the Bible important for Christians?" continuing from last half term.
- PSHE- Making friends online and computer safety.
- Art- Picasso's Cubism and Blue Period.
- ICT- Continuing with our Scratch work and debugging.
- PE - Tennis/Hockey and Gymnastics
- Music - Peter and the wolf – animals and people in music and In the Hall of the Mountain King - MARS
