My Didsbury Road Journey

At Didsbury Road we believe that the personal development of our pupils is equally as important as their academic development. We offer a wide variety of enrichment opportunities to support and enhance their personal development such as workshops, residentials, clubs and performances. We have created  ‘My Didsbury Road Journey’ to enable the children to capture and celebrate some of their personal achievements throughout their journey from Early Years to Year 6.

Every child has their own ‘My Didsbury Road Journey’ booklet. This contains activities for them to complete in school and to enjoy at home. They should keep this safe and look after it. There are different booklets for Early Years, Key Stage 1, Year 3 & 4 and Year 5 & 6. The children will receive a new booklet to complete when they start a new year group phase. The booklet is to be completed over time and activities can be done as and when it suits you and your child. The children can tick off when they have completed an activity. During the last week of each half term the children will be invited to bring in their booklet to share what they have achieved with the teacher. They may also bring in photos or other examples of what they have been doing.
